The group has come a long way since 1984, when it made a humble beginning by setting up a small industrial venture, to presently running two flour mills at Gorakhpur and Basti in Uttar Pradesh and a most modern integrated steel plant with captive power plant of 25 MW at Kutch-Gujarat with an investment of Rs.300 crores approx. The group has set up another integrated steel plant with 18 MW captive power plant in Gorakhpur, UP. The said plant has an investment of Rs.450.00 crores; out of which Rs.350.00 has already been invested and the balance work of the project is in progress. The Flour Mill Division, Steel Division, Power plant, and Railway siding have already started commercial production/ generation / operational. Our Gorakhpur unit is the only one of its kind in the State of U.P., Bihar, Uttaranchal and Delhi.
The group recently diversified and ventured into Real Estate as well with the commencement of its flagship project for development of an integrated township at Mahanagar in the heart of Lucknow, UP.
Since India is on the path of rapid development, steel industry is also growing fast in accordance with the developments to create an industry that is sustainable in all means. Indian Steel industry has also undergone drastic changes during the recent years as never seen before to cope with the never ending demand for the steel products; and has become one of the major steel producing countries in the world.
